General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV vehicles. The rear parking brake wiring harness may become damaged or corroded, resulting in unintended activation of the parking brake or loss of the parking brake function.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025 Chevrolet Blazer, Blazer EV, and Equinox vehicles. The door strikers were not properly heat-treated, which can cause them to break.

Defect Description:
FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
Potential Consequences:
The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was a clicking sound coming from the front suspension of the vehicle, and the vehicle was difficult to drive in a straight line or turn in either direction. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that the vehicle could not be repaired, and a buyback was offered for the vehicle. Additionally, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the Forward Collision Avoidance system erroneously activated, causing the vehicle to abruptly stop in the middle of the road. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who reprogrammed the Forward Collision Avoidance sensors, but the failure persisted. Additionally, the charging port had malfunctioned and became inoperable. The charging port was replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 200.
