Defect Description:

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Potential Consequences:

at around the 25,000 mile mark I had my handle bars replaced and since then the bike will shut off on freeway at speed when outside temps are warm i had a 19 chieftain that did the same and Indian had it for 2 months to repair now here we go again but through research and after 5 days in the shop i found on line in the Indian forums reports of the 20 amp circuit breaker being the culprit so i reported to my dealer and the contacted Indian who agreed so now i am waiting on the new part. i find it unbelievable Indian knows this is a issue and isn't recalling the bikes and replace the breakers instead of putting the owners lives at risk and hoping the part doesn't fail! i guess when some folks die maybe there will be a recall! UNSAT INDIAN!
