Potential Consequences:

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel failed to turn in the intended direction. The contact stated that the steering wheel was pulling to the left, almost causing the vehicle to crash into a wall. The contact’s minor child was an occupant in the vehicle at the time of the failure. The contact stated that the failure had occurred several times. The contact stated that the failure occurred while the contact's wife was driving the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure almost caused a crash with another vehicle. In addition, the failure occurred while the contact’s daughter was driving the vehicle. In addition, the contact stated the failure was a persistent failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times where it was diagnosed with steering failure; however, the contact was informed that there was no fix available. The vehicle was not repaired.
