Safety Issue:
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 vehicles. Hard braking or acceleration may cause the sensing diagnostic module (SDM) to enter a fault state. As a result, the SDM will not provide crash sensing or deploy the necessary air bags in the event of a crash.

THE WHEELS THAT CAME WITH THE 2019 C7 ZR1 -4 WHEELS BENT MULTIPLE TIMES MAKING THE CAR UNABLE TO BALANCE ALL 4 WHEELS. THIS MAKES THE CAR VIBRATE. I BOUGHT A SECOND SET OF OEM WHEELS WITH THE SAME ISSUE HAPPENING. THE DEALER WOULD NOT COVER THIS ISSUE. MY DEALER PURCHASED WHEEL PACKAGE ALSO DENIED MY CLAIM. THE CAR CAN NOT BE DRIVEN WITHOUT EXTREME VIBRATIONS. THERE WAS NO SIGNIFICANT INCIDENT THE CAR JUST SLOWLY BEGAN TO VIBRATE AND THE WHEELS COULD NOT BE BALANCED CORRECTLY BECAUSE OF WOBBLE IN THE WHEELS. TWO SETS OF WHEELS.

ON 17FEB2020 (13928 M), I HAD TIRES REPLACED IN AN ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE VIBRATIONS. VIBRATIONS BECAME STRONGER OVER TIME. ON 4NOV2020 (20678 M) I TOOK CAR TO DISCOUNT TIRE AND HAD WHEELS BALANCED. I REALIZED THIS WHEN I WENT TO DRIVE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND AROUND 50 MPH THE CAR STARTED TO SHIMMY/SHAKE.
