MANY OTHER OWNERS HAVE SAME PROBLEM, IT'S VERY COMMON. CODE P1450 AND P0456. CAUSES CAR TO NOT TURN ON AFTER FILLING UP GAS TANK. FOR SOME IT HAS STALLED THE CAR WHILE DRIVING AND UNABLE TO START CAR. THIS PART SHOULD BE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. 2017 FIESTA, 50K MILES. EASY WAY TO TEST IS PULL THE TUBE FROM BETWEEN THE ENGINE AND FIREWALL AND IF VACUUM IS PRESENT IT'S LEAKING. DOES NOT REQUIRE TOOLS TO DISCONNECT. THERE IS A GREEN TAB ON THE TUBE THAT YOU USE FINGERS TO PUSH. AGAIN NO TOOLS REQUIRED AND TAKES 10 SECONDS TO DO. PURGE VALVE IS SUPPOSE TO BE SHUT OFF BY DEFAULT. IF AIR IS MOVING THROUGH, YOU HAVE A LEAKING VALVE. IF YOU REMOVE THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY AND BLOW ON THE END, IT NEEDS TO NOT COME OUT FROM OTHER END.
