Safety Issue:

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Pilot, and 2024 HR-V, Acura Integra and Acura Integra Type S vehicles. The driver's seat cushion frame may not have been tightened properly, which can result in an unsecured seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."

Potential Risk:
An unsecured driver's seat may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
FREE Recall Solution:
Dealers will replace the driver's seat cushion frame, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 6, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.

Safety Issue:

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, 2023-2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid, and 2025 Honda Civic and Civic Hybrid vehicles. The high-pressure fuel pump may crack and leak fuel.

Potential Risk:
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
FREE Recall Solution:
Dealers will inspect and replace the high-pressure fuel pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 20, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is PJW.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 CR-V Hybrid and Accord Hybrid vehicles. The electronic transmission may have been improperly manufactured, which can result in a loss of drive power.

Potential Risk:
A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
FREE Recall Solution:
Dealers will replace the electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 11, 2023. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are NFG and HFF.

POWER TRAIN

Potential Consequences:

The contact owns a 2023 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 60 MPH, the "Power Train Failure" warning light illuminated, and the vehicle decelerated to approximately 20 MPH. The emergency braking system began activating. The contact coasted to the side of the road and had the vehicle towed to the residence. The failure also occurred while driving approximately 30 MPH. The failure had occurred three times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not diagnosed. The dealer reset the vehicle to disengage the warning light that was illuminated. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 18,000.

I was backing out of my driveway and put the car into drive I accelerated and applied firm brakes to slow the car down cause I forgot my brother. Brake system warning and tire pressure warning popped up and stayed. Turned the car on and off and it was still there. The next day everything was back to normal. Took it to the dealer and they said no codes were stored in the cars computer. Literally the next day a code popped up for the lane keep assist and disappeared 3 seconds later( this never happens usually). Took it to the dealer again but they said they can’t do anything if they can’t replicate the problem themselves. I’m suspecting an electrical issue.

First time took it to dealer and they were unable to find any problems. One more call dealer and dealer rep. said it probably was sensor or windshield camera but did not fix the problem. It happen again 2 times and took it to dealer and dealer said battery failed test and replace it. Same day after picking vehicle out of dealer it happen again. Purchase this vehicle as a relieable car for my daughter leaving to university and all it been is unsafe and unrealiable to her.

Only four months of owning a 2023 Accord Hybrid EX-L the drivers side mirror with BSI-blind spot information, no longer is viewable at highway speeds. The dealership is aware but they say there is nothing they can do about this. I was told by the dealer that this particular drivers side mirror is on a very long back order across the country. I was told some mirrors were replaced but the same issue is occurring. Everyone is waiting on Honda to come up with a solution. It’s a dangerous situation while attempting to change lanes on the highway and not be able to view out the drivers side!

The car has stopped suddenly after taking a turn on the road. It gave a bunch of warnings on the speedometer display saying the TPMS failed, Brake System failed, Collision Detection failed, and contact the service center immediately. I restarted the car, the car started moving. The warnings were still there for some time and they started disappearing one by one.

Defect Description:

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Potential Consequences:

I bought a 2023 Honda accord sport hybrid June of 2023 two weeks after purchasing the vehicle it starting giving me issues such as the dash board and infotainment screen would freeze up and completely erase itself I took it to the dealership 2 times they told me that if it didn’t do it at the dealership there was nothing they could do so they sent me home with the car. A week later I notice the safety system lights were coming on and saying system not working see dealer service soon I took photos of it and showed it to them they once again told me if it did not duplicate it self there was nothing they could do. I took it to them for the 3rd time for the same issue with even more photos and a video and got the same response. The same day I was otw to work and the whole system shut it self down again and erased completely and the dash board froze up I took it to them again on the first week of January and got them same excuse. Then on January 16 I was otw to work traveling at 45-50 mph when the car completely cut off and locked the steering wheel up and said shift to P to restart engine then after restarting the battery and brake system stayed on for 2 day then I took it to them on January 18 and they told me they didn’t know what the issue was with the car but it could be wiring and the wiring harness. And when I asked them to replace the car because I no longer feel safe driving it they told me they don’t think they can replace the car

I took it to them for the 3rd time for the same issue with even more photos and a video and got the same response. The same day I was otw to work and the whole system shut it self down again and erased completely and the dash board froze up I took it to them again on the first week of January and got them same excuse. Then on January 16 I was otw to work traveling at 45-50 mph when the car completely cut off and locked the steering wheel up and said shift to P to restart engine then after restarting the battery and brake system stayed on for 2 day then I took it to them on January 18 and they told me they didn’t know what the issue was with the car but it could be wiring and the wiring harness. The brakes failed to engage and the car began to roll backward on a hill had to use the emergency brakes to stop the car.
