Defect Description:
UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Potential Consequences:
I turned my car on and it made an extremely loud, dangerously loud, loudest noise you have ever heard loud, static noise. I turned it off and waited and turned it back on and same thing. I tried shifting it to drive, and the noise stopped. However, every time I did anything where the vehicle would make a noise, it would make a full-volume static blasting noise instead. It was not safe to drive and I am afraid it has permanently damaged my eardrums. This is a known issue (see links below) and needs to be fixed immediately. Defect Description:
SUSPENSION
Potential Consequences:
Took my vehicle in for its first service. During the multi point inspection I was informed that my right front cv axle was defective and slinging grease everywhere. Covering the front brake caliper, rotor and pad in axel grease. I find it odd that this happened as I just had to have both front cv axels replaced 400 miles ago as the too were defective. This is a known issue with the Prologue and Honda refuses to fix it.

Defect Description:
VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
Potential Consequences:
Anti-Braking System (ABS): The Anti-Braking System (ABS) malfunctioned, causing the car to unexpectedly slam on the brakes multiple times while backing up. This issue is likely related to a failure in the ABS sensors or control module. The component is available for inspection and was reported to the dealer. Transmission (Shifting into Neutral): The transmission failed by unexpectedly shifting into neutral while driving, preventing acceleration. This issue is likely related to a malfunction in the transmission control module (TCM) or related sensors. This component is available for inspection and was reported to the dealer. Anti-Braking System (ABS): This malfunction posed a significant safety risk. The car unexpectedly slamming on the brakes while backing out of the driveway onto the road causes a sudden stop, potentially leading to a collision with other vehicles as it takes several attempts of hitting the brakes or turning the emergency brake off to get the car to continue reversing out of the driveway. Transmission (Shifting into Neutral): This issue is extremely dangerous, especially on busy roads. When the vehicle unexpectedly shifted into neutral, I was unable to accelerate, which could have resulted in a dangerous situation if it had occurred on a highway or in heavy traffic, putting my family’s safety at risk. Both problems have been reported and inspected by the dealership but they were unable to reproduce the issues. I was told the auto braking system is performing as expected and is in the user manual and cannot be turned off which does not seem right. I have never driven a vehicle that cannot back out of a driveway without interruption. The Auto Braking System does display a message of "Rear Cross Traffic Auto Braking" when the brakes are initiated.

Potential Consequences:
Steering -- I leased my Honda Prologue 2024. from very first week I started hearing that some squeaking sound from my wheels but later I realized that squeaking/ cracking noise is coming from Steering. I took my car to the Honda repair center they accepted the problem and compare with other Honda Prologue same model. They kept my car for around 4 -5 days and finally said as they don't have expert mechanics and they also consult with main honda company even they don't know but you can still drive as it is not dangerous. there is no solution as of now. They made me sign the document before I took my car back. Now, I am driving my car but have some doubt back of my head, anything serious can happen and it is annoying when I park my car. As my car is on lease, they are not cancelling my lease or replacing my car.
