Potential Consequences:

THE NISSAN CONNECT SERVICES APP TELLS ME DAILY THAT THE VEHICLE HAS LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING. THE VEHICLE ITSELF DOES NOT GIVE ANY INDICATION OF LOW WARNING. NISSAN DEALERSHIP SAID THIS HAPPENS WITH A LOT OF NISSAN VEHICLES AND THE APP IS THE PROBLEM. NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THE FIX WAS TO DISABLE NOTIFICATIONS. I STILL GET THIS NOTIFICATION FROM THE APP ON A DAILY BASIS ON A 2 WEEK OLD VEHICLE AND AM CONCERNED THAT THERE REALLY IS A LOW ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SITUATION. THE NOTIFICATION APPEARS AFTER THE VEHICLE HAS SAT STATIONARY FOR MORE THAN A FEW HOURS (5-6 HOURS).
