Potential Consequences:
I PURCHASED MY 2017 CAMERO WITH ONLY 36 MILES ON IT. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES FOR MAINTENANCE WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF ME PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. IT HAS BEEN TWICE FOR THE VIBRATION OF THE TRANSMISSION. AT FIRST THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A ISSUE WITH THE TIRES. I ENDED UP PURCHASING NEW TIRES, HOWEVER THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTED. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY FINALLY STATED THAT IT WAS A ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND THEY HAD TO WAIT ON GM TO SEND SOME TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE MOST RECENT ISSUE I HAVE WITH MY 2017 CAMERO IS THAT THE STABILITY TRACK LIGHT CAME ON, THIS CAUSED MY CAR TO CUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THEY REPAIRED THE STABILITY TRACK ISSUE BUT I NEED A NEW ENGINE OR TO HAVE THE ENGINE REBUILT. THE DEALERSHIP STATED A CODE#2 CYLINDER MISFIRE INTERNAL CODE DISPLAYED. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THAT A NEW ENGINE WOULD COST ME AROUND $8900.00 PLUS LABOR. THEY STATED TO REBUILD IT IT WOULD BE OVER $10,000.00. THEY STATED MY WARRANTY WAS UP AT 60,000 MILES AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY OR GM CAN DO TO TO ASSIST ME. THIS IS THE FIRST CAR THAT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED AND IT 'S UNTHINKABLE THAT A ENGINE GOES OUT ON A CAR WITH 70,000 MILES ON IT. I ALSO KEPT UP WITH MY REGULAR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE . HAD A TORQUE CONVERTER SHUDDER WHICH WAS FIXED BY UPDATING TO NEW GM FLUIDS. AFTER THIS SERVICE, AROUND 1000 MILES LATER I STARTED EXPERIENCING HARD SHIFTS FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR. TOOK IT INTO SERVICE WHERE THEY CHANGED A VALVE BODY. THIS GOT RID OF MY HARD SHIFTS FOR ABOUT 1500 MILES, THEN IT CAME BACK EVEN WORSE. THESE PROBLEMS OCCUR WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION(USUALLY UNDER SLOW ACCELERATION).
