Safety Issue:
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Dodge Journey, Charger and Durango, RAM 2500, 3500, 3500 Cab Chassis (more than 10,000lb), 4500 Cab Chassis and 5500 Cab Chassis, Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300, 2014-2019 RAM 1500, 2015-2018 Dodge Challenger, 2015-2017 Chrysler 200, 2016-2018 RAM 3500 Cab Chassis (less than 10,000 lb), 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica and 2018 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. These vehicles are being recalled to address a defect that could prevent the cruise control system from disengaging. If, when using cruise control, there is a short circuit within the vehicle's wiring, the driver may not be able to shut off the cruise control either by depressing the brake pedal or manually turning the system off once it has been engaged, resulting in either the vehicle maintaining its current speed or possibly accelerating.

THIS IS AN ISSUE I HAVE SEEN AMONG THEESE CARS AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. I HAVE A 1 YEAR OLD AND I WOULD BE SUEING IF HE WERE TO GET INJURED BY THE SYSTEM CAUSED FROM POOR MANUFACTURING. PLEASE HAVE THIS ISSUE FIXED.

STARTING IN OCTOBER 2018 THIS CAR HAS CUT OFF ON ME FOR NO REASON AT ANY GIVEN TIME. I WILL BE DRIVING AND IT WILL CUT OFF AND TELL ME TO SHIFT INTO PARK. SOMETIMES IT CRANKS BACK UP OTHER TIMES IT DOESN'T. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO LANDMARK CHRYSLER FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES. EACH TIME I AM TOLD THAT IT'S A DIFFERENT PROBLEM. AND EACH TIME THE CAR DOES THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN. THIS HAS ENDANGERED MY LIFE AND THE LIFE OF MY TWO YEAR OLD SON. AFTER COMPLETING TWO DIFFERENT OIL CONSUMPTION TEST LANDMARK(MORROW,GA) STILL HASN'T BEEN ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM SO THE WARRANTY COMPANY WON'T FIX THE CAR. THEY KNOW THAT IT'S USING TOO MUCH OIL BUT THEY CLAIM THEY DON'T KNOW WHY. THIS CAR IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT. THEY JUST TRY TO GET YOU TO TRADE IT IN FOR ANOTHER CAR WITH A HIGHER PAYMENT. THIS PROBLEM REALLY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BEFORE IT CAUSES SOMEONE THEIR LIFE.
