The front driver seat track assembly's rear riser may have been improperly welded to the seat track rail, and as a result, the driver may not be adequately restrained in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

THEY ARE STILL CHECKING THE CAR BUT SO FAR THEY HAVE FOUND THE COOLANT IS LEAKING ALL OVER THE ENGINE AND WE WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE ENGINE. WITHIN THE PAST WEEK I HAVE HAD TO TWO MY CAR TWICE. BOTH TIMES WERE DUE TO ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE. MY PROBLEM BEGAN WEDNESDAY JULY 1, 2020 WHEN MY ENGINE LIGHT APPEARED ON MY DASH. TO GIVE CONTEXT MY CAR HAD BEEN STARTING PRETTY ROUGHLY FOR A FEW DAYS PRIOR TO THIS. AFTER THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON I HAD A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP TEST IT AND IT CAME BACK SHOWING A MISFIRE ON CYLINDER 2. I WAS TOLD THAT I MORE THAN LIKELY NEEDED NEW SPARK PLUGS AND A NEW IGNITION COIL. THE CODE WAS RESET UNTIL I COULD HAVE IT REPAIRED AS IT WAS THE WEEKEND OF JULY 4TH I WAS UNABLE TO SECURE AN APPOINTMENT. THE NEXT WEEK ON TUESDAY JULY 7, 2020 MY CAR WOULD NOT START AT ALL. I HAD IT TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP AGAIN TO HAVE THE PREVIOUS WORK COMPLETED. ON STARTING MY CAR WHITE SMOKE APPEARED. I INFORMED THE SHOP THAT MY CAR HAD NEVER EXHIBITED THIS BEFORE. I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS ALSO NEED AN ENGINE FLUSH AS WELL. ALL REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED AND PAID FOR WITH THE PRICE BEING 700.00. THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER RECEIVING MY CAR BACK THE ENGINE LIGHT RETURNED AGAIN. I BEGAN THE DRIVE TO RETURN IT BACK TO THE REPAIR SHOP. WHILE ON THE WAY MY CAR SUDDENLY SHUT OFF AND DISPLAYED A WARNING MESSAGE STATING "ENGINE COOLANT FAILURE". I WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY MANEUVER IT TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY AND ONCE AGAIN HAD IT TOWED. I WAS TOLD BY FORD THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH HOW THE ENGINE WAS BUILT WHICH HAD ALLOWED COOLANT TO GET INTO THE CYLINDERS. I WAS TOLD THE CHARGE FOR THIS ISSUE WOULD BE ABOUT 8,000.00.

THE CODE WAS RESET UNTIL I COULD HAVE IT REPAIRED AS IT WAS THE WEEKEND OF JULY 4TH I WAS UNABLE TO SECURE AN APPOINTMENT. THE NEXT WEEK ON TUESDAY JULY 7, 2020 MY CAR WOULD NOT START AT ALL. I HAD IT TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP AGAIN TO HAVE THE PREVIOUS WORK COMPLETED. ON STARTING MY CAR WHITE SMOKE APPEARED. I INFORMED THE SHOP THAT MY CAR HAD NEVER EXHIBITED THIS BEFORE. I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS ALSO NEED AN ENGINE FLUSH AS WELL. ALL REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED AND PAID FOR WITH THE PRICE BEING 700.00. THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER RECEIVING MY CAR BACK THE ENGINE LIGHT RETURNED AGAIN. I BEGAN THE DRIVE TO RETURN IT BACK TO THE REPAIR SHOP. WHILE ON THE WAY MY CAR SUDDENLY SHUT OFF AND DISPLAYED A WARNING MESSAGE STATING "ENGINE COOLANT FAILURE". I WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY MANEUVER IT TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY AND ONCE AGAIN HAD IT TOWED. I WAS TOLD BY FORD THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH HOW THE ENGINE WAS BUILT WHICH HAD ALLOWED COOLANT TO GET INTO THE CYLINDERS. I WAS TOLD THE CHARGE FOR THIS ISSUE WOULD BE ABOUT 8,000.00.
