The front driver seat track assembly's rear riser may have been improperly welded to the seat track rail, and as a result, the driver may not be adequately restrained in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

FIRST TIME IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WHICH THEY REPLACED. SECOND TIME THEY TRIED TO SAY THAT THE PART WAS BAD SO THEY REPLACED IT AGAIN. IT IS AGAIN IN THE SHOP UNDERGOING DIAGNOSIS. WHILE DRIVING THROUGH A SUBDIVION, WE CAME UPON A SHARP CURB TO THE LEFT. WHEN WE TRIED TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT IT WOULD NOT MOVE. THE BREAKS WERE APPLIED WE SLID OFF THE ROAD AND HIT A PARKED CAR. DEPLOYING ALL AIR BAGS.

I WAS DRIVING DOWN A BUSY CITY ROAD WITH MY 4 YEAR OLD IN THE BACKSEAT. THEY THEN OPENED THE DOOR WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THIS SCARED ME AS MY CAR IS SET TO LOCK AUTOMATICALLY WHILE DRIVING. I QUICKLY PULLED OVER, SHUT THE DOOR, GOT IN, AND RE-LOCKED THE DOOR. ONCE THE DOOR WAS RE-LOCKED I CLIMBED INTO THE BACKSEAT WITH THE CAR STILL RUNNING AND WAS ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR AGAIN. I THEN EXITED THE OPEN DOOR, AND WAS ABLE TO OPEN THE "LOCKED" DRIVERS DOOR, AND GET BACK IN. I THEN LOCKED THE DOORS AGAIN, AND TRIED OPENING THE DRIVERS DOOR, AND IT OPENED. I SHUT MY CAR OFF, TURNED IT BACK ON, LOCKED MY DOORS, TRIED OPENING THE DOOR, AND IT WAS LOCKED. THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR MY CHILD!
