Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2015-2016 Veloster, 2012 Santa Fe, 2011-2013 Sonata Hybrid, and 2016 Sonata Hybrid vehicles. The connecting rod bearings inside the engine may wear prematurely, which over time can result in engine damage.

THE DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION IS FAULTY. I TOOK OFF FROM A PARKING LOT INTENDING TO TUEN LEFT ON TO THE STREET. I WAS CUT OFF BY A TRUCK COMING INTO THE PARKING LOT AND HAD TO HIT THE BRAKES QUICKLY. ONCE THE TRUCK PASSED THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. IT JUST REVVED LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL WITH THE SHIFT LEVER IN DRIVE.THERE WAS TRAFFIC COMING MY WAY AS I SAT IN THE STRRET BUT THE VEHICLE FINALLY GOT BACK IN GEAR. THE OTHER DAY I WAS ON THE FREEWAY AND THE CAR AHEAD STOPPED SUDDENLY AND I HAD TO BRAKE. WHEN I LOOKED THE CAR WAS IN 3RD GEAR ACCORDING TO THE DASH DISPLAY. THEN AT A RANDOM OR AT INTERMITTENT TIMES WILL START TO BLOW EXTREMELY HOT "OVEN LIKE" AIR. I THEN TURN THE AIR-CONDITIONER OFF. IT WILL THEN AT A LATER TIME BLOW COLD AIR AGAIN.
