Safety Issue:
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2015-2018 Nissan Murano, 2016-2018 Nissan Maxima, and 2017-2019 Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 vehicles. These vehicles were previously recalled and unrepaired, or inspected and determined to not need a repair, under recall number 18V-601. In addition, this recall expands the previous population. The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) actuator pumps may allow brake fluid to leak onto an internal circuit board.

Potential Consequences:
GLARE FROM THE CHROME AREA OF THE SIDE AIR VENTS INTO THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE. THE REFLECTION FROM THE CHROME AROUND THE SIDE AIR VENTS INTO THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS DISTORTS THE DRIVERS VISION ON BOTH MIRRORS. THIS IS A DEFINITE SAFETY HAZARD AND NISSAN SHOULD CORRECT THE PROBLEM. IT APPEARS NISSAN HAS FAILED TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM AND THAT OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AS WELL. I HAVE HAD 3 OTHER MURANO'S AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM UNTIL THIS MODEL AND YEAR .

AFTER A MONTH, I NOTICED THAT WHEN I INCREASE HEATED SEAT TEMPERATURE TO MAXIMUM, ONE HALF(RIGHT) SIDE OF FRONT SEAT HEATING IS VERY HIGH AND OTHER HALF ACT NOT EVEN 50%. I CALLED NISSAN DEALER LOCALLY TO LOOK AND INVESTIGATE HEATING DISTRIBUTION ISSUE. ON THE SAME TIME I CALLED NISSAN CUSTOMER CARE AND EXPLAIN SITUATION. I WAS TOLD BY CUSTOMER CARE TO REPORT FINDINGS BACK TO THEM BASED ON DEALERSHIP RESPONSE. DEALERSHIP RESPONDED IT IS JUST A WAY DESIGN BY NISSAN FOR ALL MURANO, THERE IS NOTHING CAN BE DONE. IT'S JUST A WAY IT IS. I FEEL HELPLESS BY NISSAN OVERALL EXPERIENCE.
