THE SEATBELTS ON THE OUTSIDE 2ND ROW SEATS WILL NOT FIT BIGGER PEOPLE BECAUSE ONLY THE LAP BELT PORTION OF THE ASSEMBLY IS TOO SHORT. THIS SEAT BELT INFLATED OVER THE VERTICALS PORTION OF THE BELT SO IT CANNOT USE AN EXTENDER. THE SOLUTION IS TO LENGTHEN THE LAP PORTION OF THE SEATBELT. TWICE, THIS VEHICLE HAD TO BE DRIVEN WITH PERSONS IN THAT SEAT WITHOUT A SEATBELT BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT FIT. INVESTIGATION REVEALS THESE SEATBELTS ARE MADE FOR TEENS, HOWEVER THEY SHOULD FIT ANYONE RIDING IN THE SEAT. WE ASKED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HELP SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, HOWEVER THEY QUICKLY CANCELLED OUR CASE. I CALLED AND RE-OPENED THE CASE. # CAS-21718846-M4J6B6.
