Potential Consequences:
The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, she attempted to stop the vehicle however, the contact had to apply added pressure and pump the brake pedal multiple times to coast the vehicle to a stop. The brake warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the brake line was leaking brake fluid, and that the brake line needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired.
