Due to a problem with a suction jet pump seal inside the fuel tank, fuel may flow into the evaporative emissions (EVAP) system and possibly leak out of the charcoal canister.

THE LACK OF POWER, AS A RESULT OF A DELAYED DOWNSHIFT AND GRINDING OF THE TRANSMISSION, CAN ALSO BE NOTED WHEN TRYING TO OVERTAKE ON A HIGHWAY. WHEN TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND THE THROTTLE IS DEPRESSED TO SPEED UP, THE TRANSMISSION GRINDS AND PRODUCES POWER ONLY AFTER A DELAY. I HAVE HAD MANY ISSUES WITH THE KEY FOB. IT IS OFTEN VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCK OR UNLOCK THE CAR UNLESS I AM WITHIN 5 FEET OF IT AND THE CAR DOES NOT RESPOND WELL TO THE FOB SIGNAL. ADDITIONALLY, ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS WHILE THE FOB HAS BEEN IN MY POCKET, DUE TO THE POOR DESIGN OF THE FOB, THE TRUNK HAS INADVERTENTLY OPENED UP. NOT ONLY ARE THESE ISSUES A NUISANCE, BUT THEY CAN BE DANGEROUS IF THEY HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING OR IN ANOTHER SITUATION. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE BOTH BEING STATIONARY AND WHILE DRIVING.
