The front driver seat track assembly's rear riser may have been improperly welded to the seat track rail, and as a result, the driver may not be adequately restrained in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

THE BUSHINGS ON MY 2016 FORD FUSION BROKE. LUCKILY WE WERE PARKED WHEN IT BROKE BUT IT HAS DISABLED OUR VEHICLE. IF WE DIDN'T HAVE ANOTHER VEHICLE WE WOULD BE STRANDED. WHEN WE CALL FORD CORPORATION AND THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP WE ARE TOLD THAT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND IF IT IS THE BUSHINGS THEN THEY WOULD ONLY COVER THE REPAIR AND NOT THE TOWING OR ANYTHING ELSE. I ASKED WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I WAS DRIVING AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE THE SAME THING. THIS IS A JOKE THAT WE SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COST DUE TO FAULTY MANUFACTURE PARTS ON THEIR END. I ASSUMED IT'S AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM, ALSO THE CONTROLS FROM THE STEERING WHEEL DOESN'T WORK ASWELL. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY HAD FOUND NOTHING. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS DEFECT, DUE TO A SCARE OF THE STEERING WHEEL NOT FUNCTIONING AGAIN AND WHILE DRIVING AROUND THE BLINKER WON'T ACTIVATE WHEN ITS SUPPOSE TOO.
